The Goon Squad improved to 2-0 on the season with a 4-0 win over the Marlins on Sunday. In a game that promised to feature quality pitching on both sides, the Goon Squad's offense was able to do just enough to pick up the win.

Janson Neff picked up with the win for the Goon Squad after tossing three innings of one hit baseball while striking out five. Conner Gordon also threw three shutout innings, allowing just two hits while striking out seven and Nathan Hatcher tossed the final inning striking out two.

Trey Boatright supplied most of the Goon Squad's offense Sunday as he went 2-4 with a pair of doubles and drove in three. Gordon picked up two hits of his own, while Wesley Wilkes drove in the other Goon Squad run.

Up Next: The Goon Squad (2-0) will stay on the road and visit the Steamers (2-0) on Friday night at Chain Field, while the Marlins (0-2) will look for their first win when they visit the Thrashers (0-2) on Sunday at New Hampstead.
