The White Sox remained unbeaten and improved to 3-0 on the season with a 12-5 win over the Padres on Thursday night at Chain Field.

The Sox offense continued to put up runs early jumping out to a 7-0 lead before adding some insurance late to secure the win. Ian Allen went 3-4 with a double and four RBIs. Andrew Strittmatter had a pair of hits and scored four runs and Zach Case ripped a two run single for the White Sox.

The Padres threatened all night, but couldn't close the gap despite a two hit night from Rolando Rosas, who drove in a run and scored twice. Carlos Perez added an RBI single while Eric Torres doubled and scored a run.

Up Next: The White Sox (3-0) will visit the Steamers (2-0) on Sunday at Chain Field, while the Padres (0-2) visit the Royals (1-1) at Memorial.
