The Braves (3-3) jumped out to an early lead over the previously unbeaten Cardinals (5-1) and cruised to an 11-1 victory on Thursday night.

Jack Myers shut down the high powered Cardinals offense on his way to his 2nd win of the season. Myers kept the Cards hitters off balance all night, scattered just three hits while striking out nine.

Myers helped his own cause by leading the Braves offense with three hits and three runs batted in. Kevin Archer and Mark Lott each chipped in with two hits and two RBIs of their own.
