The Black Sox captured the 2020 Savannah Adult Baseball League Championship in the 33+ Division by defeating the Cardinals two games to one in the championship series.

The Black Sox entered the day with their backs against the wall after dropping game one last weekend 2-1, but forced a decisive game three by defeating the Cardinals 2-0 in game two. Jesse Collins threw a complete game, one hit shut out and drove in a run as he out dueled Pedro Peralta of the Cardinals. Alan Mejia's single in the sixth inning was the Cardinals lone hit in the game.

In game three, the Black Sox struck for three runs in the top of the first when Collins doubled home a run and Luis Medina's infield single plated two more. Collins who took the ball again in game two scattered three hits over four innings of work before handing the ball over to the bullpen after Medina added another two run single in the 5th to stretch the lead to five. Ian Allen recorded the game's final nine outs as the Black Sox clinched the title with a 5-0 win. Mejia and Mario Masis each collected two hits for the Cardinals in game three who stranded ten runners on base.

For the Cardinals, the loss comes as a disappointing end to an incredible season where they won a league best sixteen games and were unquestionably the league's best team all season long.
