The White Sox defeated the Royals in the 18+ Division Championship  series to claim their first title and end the Royals runs of 5 straight championships.

After winning game 1 on Friday, the Sox needed some late night heroics after the Royals grabbed the lead in the top of the 9th on a Brandon Wallace RBI single with two outs. Down to their last out, Zach Case ripped a single to left that chased home two runs and capped off the Sox championship run!

After the game, Brandon Whitmore was named the postseason MVP!
